IT Infrastructure Engineer - Grimsby - £35,000 to £40,000

Principal IT are working with one of Britain's leading pork processors who supply fresh pork, cured and cooked meats to retail at foodservice manufacturing customers across the UK.

This company have gone through several rounds of investment over the lastfew years and have shown no signs of slowing down.

Within this role you will be responsible for the delivery of all IT infrastructure and related IT operations used to enable business capabilities and services across the business.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and support the Infrastructure for IT & Operational Technology across the plants.
Work to agreed servicelevel & operationallevel metrics.
Follow and strive for continuous improvement of the incident, problem, change & capacity management processes.
Stay up to date on IT operations, wider IT initiatives/projects, business challenges and other external changes that could have an impact.
Reports to the Infrastructure & Operations Manager (UK/ROI)
All other team members within IT which can affect or aid in improving the services
Be part of the team maintaining a shift rota and cover to support the business in and out of agreed hours.
Respond to incidents in and out of hours.

Our client is looking for someone with a real focus on Infrastructure and Operations along with having a strong team work ethic but also having the ability to work on your own.

Working in a role like this requires you to have a real passion for IT as theindustry is improving at such an incredible rate of speed.

This role is Monday to Friday with an On-Call & Shift Rota.

The Package:

If successful our client is offering a salary of up to £40k per annum along with 25 days holiday. With this, you will also receive an attractive benefits package in return for your hard work.
