And we're committed to delivering a first-class service while we do it Within the Connections Quotes Team we're responsible for preparing design quotes when our customers need to make changes to their network connection.

Our role is to speak with our customers to fully understand their needs and ensure they're engaged throughout the whole process.

Our customer's journey is at the core of this role.


_ What you'll be doing_:

Day to day you'll deliver outputs as agreed in the performance management goals.

Design and Quote interfacing with the customer or their representatives to establish their requirements undertaking network design calculations, cost estimates, preparing technical and financial authorisation paperwork and issuing the quotation as required.


You'll interface with Customers, Site Agents and Resources to ensure the progression of the project and acceptance of the work, recognising and resolving with issues as they arise, ensuring designs comply with Company and statutory requirements.

Managing a portfolio of connection projects to deliver outputs in-line with performance management goals.

Spending time fully understanding customer needs in order to design, quote and deliver to the highest SPD standard. Liaise and communicate with external and internal colleagues

Preparing authorisation paperwork and issuing quotations as required.

You will deliver excellent customer service to all aspects of your work, managing the customer by providing comprehensive contacts at all relevant points throughout the customer journey.


We will look for you to respond appropriately to Customer Complaints, taking ownership and resolving as appropriate, focus on continuous improvement through quality processes and respond appropriately to the departmental needs or issues.


_ What you'll bring_:

The ability to explain projects clearly and in detail to customers and individuals at all levels, Self
- motivated to deal with any challenges faced, ensuring objectives are delivered timeously without compromising on safety, quality or customer service.


Attention to detail is necessary in order to recognise and resolve issues as they arise, ensuring designs comply with Company and statutory regulations and the job is designed at the highest level of quality and standard.


You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge and experience of customer service, by providing best in class customer journey.

Accuracy of information and excellent communication skills are essential whilst delivering for our customers quickly to design a solution and maintain the best time to quote without delay.


Skilled in maintaining excellent relationships with customers, ensuring every part of the journey from quote to completion is handled expertly.

Knowledge of the Electricity Network or an electrical qualification would be advantageous to this role but not essential


Being an effective communicator, you should have a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels.

As a decision maker you can give advice and lead as required.
