This is a permanent, full-time position based at our site in Crumlin.

Role Overview:

The Production Team Leader is responsible for the Operational delivery of antigen manufacture, including large scale purification.

Role Requirements

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

The management of antigen manufacture, including large scale purification, Cell Culture manufacture and Serum & Plasma material.
Lead protein production planning at HQ
To ensure delivery of production output within the agreed budget
Ensure all aspects of the department and processes are aligned for optimal performance in collaboration with all site services across supply chain, technical operations and quality.
To ensure that all departmental based work activities are conducted in accordance with relevant quality standards and current good manufacturing practice.
Recording of KPI for the department & escalate through tier meeting structure.
Contribute to delivery of HQ Operations objectives and overall BBI Goals
Raise Works orders and review completed batch records/works orders.
Assistance of equipment maintenance visits & ensuring all faults are raised in a timely manner.
Review of equipment maintenance/ cleaning logs and calibration certificates as required.
Use Sage X3 system to order consumables through approvals, requisitions, POs, receipting.
Support external audits.
Control manufacturing costs and identify and implement opportunities for cost savings.
