Teaching Assistant
We are excited to represent an SEN School in Tower Hamlets actively seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team, commencing in March.
This temporary position offers full-time hours, with the potential to transition to a permanent contract following an initial period working through Classroom Support.

Working Hours: Full-time (8:30am-3:30pm)
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or autism.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in challenging behaviour management.
- Experience in tutoring small classes of students with ASD or ADHD.
- Advantageous: Positive behaviour management, restraint training, or a background in support roles.
- Advantageous: Experience tutoring within SEN schools or provisions.
- Ability to connect with students on a personal level, demonstrating a firm yet caring nature.
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies.
