Full time - Term time only

Simply Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our esteemed school in Tipton.

Our setting boasts a qualified and experienced Therapeutic Services team, delivering outstanding integrated therapeutic support to ensure every young person achieves social, emotional, and academic success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored learning for students.
  • Provide oneonone support to students with behavioural needs, helping them recognize and regulate their emotions.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students feel supported and inspired to learn.
  • Support students in developing essential life skills and promoting their overall wellbeing.

Requirements:


  • Prior experience working with children in a professional capacity.
  • Hold a Level 3 or 2 Childcare qualification or similar. (Desirable but not essential)
  • Empathetic and patient attitude towards supporting students with behavioural and emotional challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusivity, safety, and student welfare.
