Trinity House Group are working on an exclusive basis to recruit a Head of Finance for a business in the West Midlands who are growing rapidly through acquisition.

The Finance Director is looking to make some progressive changes within the finance function which includes the creation of this new role.

You will work closely with the Senior Management Team where you will have a voice, and the autonomy to make changesto improve the finance function.

You will coach and develop a team to ensure they offer the right level of support for their business area whilst gaining good insight to these areas yourself.

The organisation is part of a larger Group and therefore this role offers the best of both worlds; working as part of a small team where you can effect change quickly but with the backing and infrastructure of a Corporate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an innovative, career minded finance leader who is looking to have more of a say in how the finance function operates.

You will have an appetite to drive through some significant changes and ways of working whilst engagingthe team and bringing them on the journey.

The role of Head of Finance will be highly rewarding and will allow you to put your own stamp on things.

You must have a sense of humour, be able to communicate at all levels, and genuinely enjoy working collaboratively.

The Role:

Ownership of the month end process and production of board pack
Develop a systemdriven reporting suite (financial reports and KPIs) that can be distributed to the local leadership team
Responsible for the statutory accounts and leading on the statutory audit
Review, strengthen and streamline financial controls in order to establish a standard for the division
Review and standardise accounting policies
Lead on the review and subsequent transformation of transactional finance processes within the division, to reduce workload and improve team efficiency
Financial lead for system/platform integrations
Deputise for the Finance Director
Daytoday management and development of the team
Support the FD in restructuring the team to better meet the needs of the business as they acquire additional companies and further integrate existing entities
Lead on the integration of financial processes, controls and new team members for future acquisitions
