Meraki Talent's industry leading Financial Services client are looking for an Operations Manager to join a busy Pensions and Contact Centre Operation.

The Pensions Manager will be a critical appointment and therefore we are keen to speak to high-calibre individuals with a strong background in annuities, the pension journey and exposure of administering annuity and pension policies.

Responsibilities of the Position:

Lead by example displaying strong values and beliefs and a commitment to encouraging individuals to put the client at the front of everything that they do
Annuities technical support mentor for the team
Performance management providing coaching, development opportunities.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the risks to clients within their operation and how these will be mitigated
Implementing changes to improve customer service quality and efficiency.
Resource management and staff recruitment
Process improvements
Training and development in general, and appraisals including agreeing suitable objectives for all staff
Liaise with, challenge and understand both internal and external Audit requirement

Background of the Position:

Previous experience of managing annuity teams
CII or CISI qualifications (pensions/annuities/regulatory) in accordance with FCA T&C regime
Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders across the business
Excellent organisational and administration skills
Enthusiastic and positive cando attitude
