Meraki Talent's industry leading Financial Services client are looking for an Operations Manager to join a busy Pensions and Contact Centre Operation.

The Pensions Manager will be a critical appointment and therefore we are keen to speak to high-calibre individuals with a strong background in annuities, the pension journey and exposure of administering annuity and pension policies.


Responsibilities of the Position:


  • Lead by example displaying strong values and beliefs and a commitment to encouraging individuals to put the client at the front of everything that they do
  • Annuities technical support mentor for the team
  • Performance management providing coaching, development opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the risks to clients within their operation and how these will be mitigated
  • Implementing changes to improve customer service quality and efficiency.
  • Resource management and staff recruitment
  • Process improvements
  • Training and development in general, and appraisals including agreeing suitable objectives for all staff
  • Liaise with, challenge and understand both internal and external Audit requirement

Background of the Position:


  • Previous experience of managing annuity teams
  • CII or CISI qualifications (pensions/annuities/regulatory) in accordance with FCA T&C regime
  • Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders across the business
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Enthusiastic and positive cando attitude
