Finance Manager (Part time: 2 days)


Three Bridges Recruitment are proud to present a Finance Manager opportunity within a reputable wealth management organisation based in Edinburgh.

This company is reporting consistent growth and maintains a fantastic number of high-net-worth clients as wellas great personal relationships with all they advise.

This role would suit a qualified accountant looking for a part time position as Finance Manager.

You'll have full responsibility for the accounting function and be working with a great team, as well as senior stakeholders.

Job
The role of Finance Manager has the following responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Presenting commentary, including variance analysis
  • Preparing annual budgets, reports, cashflows
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Preparing corporation tax returns
  • Ensuring monthly payroll is accurate and on time
  • Producing cashflow and P&L accounts
  • Supporting the leadership team and ensuring all finance information is communicated effectively, including at Group level
  • Responsibility for purchase ledger
  • Working closely with the compliance team
  • Developing improvements to processes and controls
  • Authorising transactions once appropriate checks are carried out

You
As Finance Manager you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • An accountancy qualification (ACCA, ICAS or CIMA)
  • Demonstrable experience of working within FCA regulated environment
  • Knowledgeable in preparing management accounts & tax returns
  • Superb relationship building skills
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be selfmotivated with a proactive approach to work
