This role would suit a qualified accountant looking for a part time position as Finance Manager.You'll have full responsibility for the accounting function and be working with a great team, as well as senior stakeholders.

- £50,000 to £58,000 (full time equivalent - based on experience)

Job
The role of Finance Manager has the following responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Presenting commentary, including variance analysis
- Preparing annual budgets, reports, cashflows
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Preparing corporation tax returns
- Ensuring monthly payroll is accurate and on time
- Producing cashflow and P&L accounts
- Supporting the leadership team and ensuring all finance information is communicated effectively, including at Group level
- Responsibility for purchase ledger
- Working closely with the compliance team
- Developing improvements to processes and controls
- Authorising transactions once appropriate checks are carried out
You
As Finance Manager you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- An accountancy qualification (ACCA, ICAS or CIMA)
- Demonstrable experience of working within FCA regulated environment
- Knowledgeable in preparing management accounts & tax returns
- Superb relationship building skills
- Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent IT skills, including Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be selfmotivated with a proactive approach to work
