Description

We are looking for an experienced NHS operational coordinator with recent knowledge and good understanding of the national NHS Cancer Agenda, to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) as a Radiology Cancer Pathway Manager.

Having commenced on a programme of work in 2019 as part of the national agenda to transform the way that we deliver cancer services (as described in the national Cancer Strategy and 5 year Forward View), and ultimately improve cancer performance, we believe that this is a fantastic opportunity to join ESNEFT to support us in this.


You should be enthusiastic and share our vision of providing world class cancer services to the population of North Essex and East Suffolk, with the skills required to support the continued improvement in our cancer performance.

This is a fixed term position for 8 months.

  • Provide visible operational leadership to the Medical Imaging CDG and promote continual improvement in quality, performance and delivery of Trust objectives
  • Support the lead in the establishment of accountability structures within the Medical Imaging CDG ensuring that responsibility is delegated appropriately so that decisions can be taken as close to service provision as possible
  • Manage and motivate staff within the Medical Imaging CDG to deliver and improve services so meeting the needs of patients
  • Line management of administrative staff within Medical Imaging, either directly or through delegated responsibility
