Description

Modis are partnering with a globally recognised investment bank and are looking for a Java developer to assist on an exciting project working as part of a front-office technology team, delivery of software for the bank's Equities trading business, acrossmultiple business areas.

The chosen individual will be Involved in all aspects of software development to deliver new business functionality, non-functional requirements, such as capacity, performance and availability, new regulations as well platform modernizationand enhancements and you will play a 360 role on the project focusing on analysis, design, development, and testing.


  • Java handson experience, including multithreading
  • Experience with providing level 3 function by assisting Level 2 team to answer queries
  • Equities experience
  • Unix / Linux environment exposure
  • SQL / relational database skill
  • Positive attitude, enjoying working in team
  • Good communication skills
This role is a month contract inside 1r35. It is primarily from home with occasional travel to the UK headquarters in the City of London
