**Manufacturing Engineering Manager - £65k-£75k - Cambridge - Precision Instrumentation
**My client is leading manufacturer of high-tech precision equipment for a range of different industries. They're looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a hands-on approach to manage the day to day running of the department includingresponsibility for the overall status of projects/initiatives, budget, resource planning and scheduling, team development, training and recruitment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced manager or team leader looking to take a step up.

**Main Duties: **+ Overall responsibility for manufacturing engineering projects

  • Take ownership of NPI
  • Manage continuous improvement
  • Ensure full product documentation is provided to operations
  • Manage the configuration of orders
  • Support operation and field service teams
**Skills & Experience Required: **+ Degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience

  • Experienced manager or team leader
  • Strong technical knowledge in design for manufacture
  • Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and controls
  • Experience in implementing and promoting continuous improvement
  • Experienced in working to ISO 9001 would be beneficial
The salary will be between £65,000-£75,000 depending on experience.
