Role Overview:

Based in Oldham Safeguarding Adults Boards Business Unit the Board Business Co-ordinator is responsible for: 5


Co-ordinating, supporting and planning, delivering and monitoring of Oldham's Safeguarding Adults Board's (OSAB) strategic business, including subgroup activity and guidance on policy and programme development.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Supporting Oldham Safeguarding Adults Board Business Unit Manager in the delivery of the board's statutory duties.
  • Supporting and monitoring Oldham Safeguarding Adults Board subgroup activity.
  • Ensuring Oldham Safeguarding Adults Board partners receive timely and proportionate information.

Key Requirements:


  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Good knowledge of Safeguarding Adults statutory duties, best practice and associated value base
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent partnership working skills

To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:

  • GCSE Grade A to C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Basic project management skills and experience of using these to support others in the delivery of projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
