Description

Our client are a vertically integrated property investment, development, and management company based in Hove. Entrepreneur focused, agile, small team to manage in-house property portfolio. Commercial property department comprises 24 units in England and73 units in Ireland. The expectation is 'hands on' management of the properties in England with oversight of the properties in Ireland

Responsibilities

Directly manage a small portfolio of commercial properties
Directly manage and assist with a small portfolio of HMO properties in Eastbourne
In depth understanding of Commercial Property Management Legislation
A thorough understanding of AST & commercial property management
Successfully manage a competitive Property Management Service managing repairs and servicing of properties within the portfolio ensuring that relevant compliances are adhered to, and essential works are completed to keep properties in a good state ofrepair
Ability to actively seek ways to constantly improve current service aspiring to exceed more established competition
Monitor costs, profitability, and rents on a regular basis ensuring that profitability is maintained throughout the portfolio and debts are managed.
Weekly rents meeting with PM team to ensure debts are managed according to procedure and monitored appropriately within the system
Quarterly PM meeting with Finance, Director & PM Team to ensure portfolio is reviewed as a whole and any issues arising are being addressed

Requirements:

Qualified commercial property manager
35 years' experience within the property sector
Ambitious with the ability to grow the department and develop into a team leadership role
Proven ability to be decisive, make decisions, and get the job done.
Knowledge and understanding of Irish property management (nice to have)
Computer and IT Literate (Reapit, Microsoft Office, Asana)

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Full Time:
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
