About the role
As part of our Consumer Duty implementation we are expanding the 1st Line of Defence risk & control team (Operational Permanent Control - OPC) in size and remit to develop and manage Customer Outcome Testing - This is an opportunity to join this team from the start, a really exciting prospect


The OPC Team partners with the business to help them deliver business strategy in a safe, secure and risk aware manner - Facilitating risk, control and incident management and co-ordinating governance over new activities, products and services.


You'll be part of a team delivering a comprehensive testing programme that provides assurance over the outcomes being delivered to Arval UK customers; completing outcome testing, reporting to management and working to continuously improve the programme.

Good knowledge of vehicle leasing products and of operational vehicle leasing business processes would be advantageous for this role.

About You - Who we are looking for?


Not shy to share your thoughts in a confident and constructive fashion, you will be comfortable operating with varying levels of management in a corporate environment and will understand the complexities of working for a matrix style organisation.

Naturally resilient, you will also be highly organised, analytical and able to operate with autonomy. You will welcome ownership and accountability, be creative and solution focussed and able to work at pace.


You will need to:

  • Have knowledge of the UK regulatory environment and what constitutes fair customer outcomes (SYSC, CONC, CCA, Consumer Duty, SM&CR)
  • Good stakeholder management skills and capabilities, able to build and manage relationships at various levels across the business
  • Ability to provide clear advice/instruction to teams/peers/management

  • Well organised with a structured & analytical approach
  • Able to operate with autonomy, having a strong drive for learning & continuous improvement
