Duties and Responsibilities
Under the instruction/guidance of senior staff: provide general administrative/financial support to the Teaching School Hub.


Support the administration team in achieving the STEP Standard for excellence by ensuring they are supported in all administration, with a positive impact on the Teaching School Hub.

Promote a culture of adherence to policies and processes within established time frames. Support the administration team in building a reputation for excellence.

Support senior staff to ensure consistency around staff and administration processes.
Support senior staff in identifying excellent practice
Liaising with external agencies as appropriate
Establishing good working relationships with all stakeholders


Administration:


  • Provide general clerical/admin support, e.g. photocopying, filing, complete standard forms, respond to routine correspondence.
  • Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems.
  • Produce lists/information/data as required e.g. participant data.
  • Undertake IT based tasks.
  • Take notes at meetings.
  • Undertake administrative procedures.
  • Maintain and collate training attendance reports.
  • Organise events on all training programmes, both inperson and online.
  • Communicate with participants about training events.
  • Manage participant systems e.g. Insightly, My Ambition

Resources:


  • Operate relevant equipment/ICT packages (e.g. word, excel, databases, spreadsheets, CRM).
  • Maintain stock and supplies, cataloguing and distributing as required.
  • Provide general advice and guidance across the Teaching School Hub remit.
  • Undertake general financial administration e.g. processing orders.

Responsibilities:


  • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection. Reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
  • Be aware of and support difference and ensure equal opportunities for all.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the Teaching School Hub.
  • Appreciate and support the role of other professionals.
  • Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required.
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
