Description
Within the scientific industry Field Service Engineers are responsible for the maintenance, installation and repair of a range of scientific equipment.
They provide excellent customer care in a challenging hands-on position, servicing instruments used ina range of industries.
Our client is a leading Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography Service organisation, providing solutions to a range of major vendors instruments (Waters, Agilent, Shimadzu, Sciex, ThermoFisher and more).
Within this role you will provide remote and on-site support for Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry instruments covering customer sites acrossthe Midlands and South of England.
To be suitable for this position, you will have/be:- A relevant science or engineering qualification (HND, BSc, MSc, etc)
- Previous experience servicing Chromatography and/or Mass Spectrometry instruments from a range of vendors (Waters, Agilent, Shimadzu, ThermoFisher, Sciex, etc)
- Comfortable with extensive travel (~75% of your time will be on the road)
- Excellent communication skills and able to provide a high level of customer service
