Project Accountant

6-month FTC to start ASAP

Salary:
£55k - £60k per annum prorata, or

Day Rate:
£350-£400 per day

Location:
Hackney E2


Our client is a global construction solution provider that operate in various sectors such as public healthcare, eventing and stage/set design and construction.

They are looking for a Project Accountant you to join their team for a specific project withinthe public health sector.

The project will last approximately 6 months.

You will be responsible for the smooth running and delivery of the project from a financial perspective, with full responsibility to track, report and analyse project finances, providingcommentary and support of both financial and non-financial users.

You will provide key insights to your key stakeholders to enable operational and management decisions to be educated and informed, as well as challenge your peers in order to support the businessforecasting and achieving Gross Margin as well as project delivery targets.


Your core responsibilities will include:


  • Understanding of project commercial nature and Scope of Work.
  • Financial Business Partner to Commercial and Project Management team.
  • Advising, review, and approval where appropriate, of Purchase Orders, Invoicing and Payments, including CIS.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting for your project areas.
  • Project reporting, revenue, profitability, variance analysis and commentary
  • Management Accounts for Month End process.

Your core skill set includes:


  • Minimum of two years' experience in a Management/Project Accountant role;
  • Qualified/Part-Qualified CIMA/ACCA with a view to completing qualification;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, with a knowledge of NetSuite an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail critical to success of role
