The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a English Trainer Assessor for functional Skills. This is within our Training and Apprenticeships Team on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

What You Will Be Doing:

Deliver all elements of the Functional Skills qualifications including: training, mentoring, learner reviews, timely feedback and assessment
Deal with apprenticeship recruitment and enrolments
Conduct initial assessment of student needs
Maintain accurate apprenticeship records, plan sessions, upload and mark learner work giving feedback using our eportfolio
Identify and facilitate the employers of apprenticeships in order to ensure that both apprenticeship and employer needs are met

What We Are Looking For:

4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
Recognised teaching qualification (or a willingness to achieve one within the first 3 years of appointment)
