In order to continue our success, we need to maintain a stable and reliable workforce by recruiting and retaining the right people.


Role Purpose:

The safe operation of Company machinery to fabricate Company products to agreed standards of quality and quantity.


What you will be responsible for:

  • Reading and understanding product fabrication and assembly instructions.
  • Taking part in product development meetings.
  • Verifying dimensions and product specifications.
  • Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present.
  • To liaise with production supervision to ensure an adequate stock of cut pipe for bending is maintained.
  • To ensure the safe handling, transportation, stacking and storage of fabricated products.
  • To move finished products to designated areas of the stockyard as and when required.
  • Ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned, and attached.
  • Ensuring that quality standards are met.
  • Maintaining a production schedule.
  • Troubleshooting to minimize problems or recalls.
  • Reporting and detailing product malfunctions.
  • Adhering to assembly safety standards.

The Person:


  • Served apprenticeship or has experience in carpentry related trades or engineering.
  • Specialized certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating heavy machinery.
  • Good dexterity.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Polypipe products and services would be advantageous
  • Technical knowledge of water management solutions would be advantageous
