Ward Security is on the lookout for a committed Security Officer to become a valuable member of our team of 10 operatives based at Sea Containers House a prominent building located on the south bank of the River Thames, west of Blackfriars Bridge, in London.

Position:
Security Officer

Pay rate:
£12.40

Shift Pattern: 3 days 3 nights 3 off
- rotating shift schedule

24/7 coverage

Location:
Sea Containers House

22 Upper Ground, London SE1 9PD

Must have:

Valid Frontline SIA license
Good customer service and communication skills
High level of selfpresentation
Basic IT skills
Experience within a similar position is preferred
Ability to work well in a team and capable of working off own initiative
Quick thinking and problemsolving skills
A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges

Main Duties:

Act as a point of contact and information center to staff and visitors and tenants
Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to
Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers
Conduct foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client's property and assets.
Investigate and take the appropriate lawfully action as authorized by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidents
Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures
Excellent communication skills to all levels verbally, written, phone and by security radio's
