The events management team sits under the Corporate Affairs group within LSEG and leads the planning and execution of corporate, internal and commercial events and experiences ranging in size and varying degrees of complexity.

As an Events Associate, you will lead and deliver a full spectrum of events which build on new and existing client relationships, supporting client retention goals, and build significant, face-to-face engagement opportunities for our client-facing teams.

The role reports to the Manager, Events and must be based in London, and will require possible international travel.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Event Management team, your focus will be contributing to and supporting the planning, management and delivery of a wide spectrum of events across the group:

  • Ensure a successful client experience and highly qualitative outcomes for the LSEG team, clients and customers.
  • End to end planning and deliver of all corporate, partnered, commercial and internal events that have been assigned to the team.
  • Reporting and documentation of any event follow ups as the need arises.
  • Onsite and 3rd party location support for key events.
  • Ability to navigate between virtual and in person event execution.
  • Experience of event or marketing experience creating, handling and producing hightouch, outstanding meetings and events
  • Team spirited, friendly, confident individual with a highly professional demeanour including excellent interpersonal and networking skills; confidence to interact with executives and toptier clients
  • Ability to conceptualize ideas and see ideas through to execution
  • Comfortable leading contracts including terms and conditions, liability, indemnification, attrition, etc.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with an engaging and diplomatic demeanour
  • Highly resourceful, creative and selfmotivated
  • Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure in a clientfacing environment
  • Interest and experience in staying current on all aspects of event production and execution
  • Experience working with the latest tech requirements
  • Delivery focused with strong attention to detail and highquality standards, coupled with the ability to balance multiple demands, handle shifting priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work flexible days and hours as needed
