Role:


As an Independent Prescriber, you will take responsibility for delivery of clinical services at our flagship pharmacy, providing excellent patient care that will drive NHS and private services to maximise business performance.

You will support, mentor and develop clinical pharmacists to complete their Independent Prescribing qualification, using your skills, knowledge and prior experience.


This role will be based at our Alwoodley pharmacy, but will require travel to other branches around Leeds and York as required.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide clinical services to patients in a professional, friendly, and caring environment.
  • Develop and support our branch clinical pharmacists, being their Designated Prescribing Practitioner.
  • Maintain a CPD record which reflects personal training needs whilst encompassing relevant current developments.

Essential:


  • Independent Prescriber qualification
  • Three years' experience in prescribing e.g. common/minor conditions
  • Masters degree in pharmacy or equivalent
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council

Desirable:


  • Management or Leadership qualification
  • GP Surgery experience
  • Travel vaccines
  • Significant relevant clinical experience
  • Coaching and mentoring experience/qualification

Salary:
Up to £75,000.00 per year
