Our Client, who provide specialist HR, Health & Safety and Employment Law advice to SME's across a wide range of industries and sectors, are looking for an experienced
HR Consultant /
Senior Advisor to provide tailored HR support.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong generalist HR background who is looking for a varied and challenging position.
£30,000 - £40,000 will be offered depending on experience.
**The successful HR Consultant will be required to: - **- Offer professional HR advice and guidance to business owners/ Directors/ senior management to ensure best practice.
- Build and maintain relationships with multiple clients. You will have your own dedicated client base in order to build strong business relationships and provide tailored HR support.
- Conduct HR audits with new clients to assess their HR requirements. Provide recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare employee hand books, written statements and service agreements specific to each client.
- Provide advice on employee relations and other HR matters such as; disciplinary & grievance, maternity/ paternity, redundancy, performance management, absence management, TUPE, recruitment and restructure.
- Produce template letters and follow up advice for all HR related matters.
- Prepare bespoke policies and HR systems.
- Ensure the needs of each client is understood, providing an excellent level of customer service.
- Assist with preparation and delivery of training programmes designed specifically for our clients
- Attend meetings at clients' premises to provide ongoing support.
- Represent Company at business seminars/workshops (ad hoc).
- Contribute to Company social media and website updates.
Extensive experience within a HR generalist advisory position
:

Experience of seeing processes through from start to completion
:
- Confidence to provide HR advice.
- The ability to adapt advice based on specific client and scenario.
- Experience working in a fast paced role.
- CIPD qualification/ HRM Degree (Qualification not essential as long as a good level of experience can be demonstrated.)
- Full UK Driving licence essential. This role will involve occasional travel throughout the UK.
- Have a good sense of humour with an ability to work well as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Good commercial awareness.
- A strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- An
up to date knowledge of employment legislation
- Experience of employment tribunals would be advantageous but not essential.
- An ability to make quick decisions and have confidence in advice provided.
- A flexible attitude to working practice.
- Well presented, professional appearance.
£30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Hybridworking arrangement: 3 days from office in Cannock, 2 days from home.
