Project Manager - 6 months temp - immediate start - £21.77 to £27.56 ph
Our client is a leading UK University looking for an experienced Project Manager for a high priority project for Council.
It will deliver on allfive of the Organisational Excellence goals and reflect the overarching University Strategy, aligning with the relevant strategic KPIs, including but not limited to the:
- Organisational Excellence
- Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Strategic Plan
- Education and Student Experience Strategic Plan
- People Strategic Plan
About the Role
As an experienced Project Manager you will deliver on all 5 of the University's Organisational Excellence Plans. The project will deliver a set of clear, contemporary, compliant, and agile?governing documents, policies?and?processes that are easily accessibleand understood.
Creating an honest and open environment where the running of the University and?delivery of?its strategy is underpinned by?highly?effective decision making where everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
What you'll do
The core project objective is to deliver a refreshed, streamlined, agile, contemporary and compliant set of governing documents, which must:
- Be easily accessible and understood by staff, students, and other stakeholders.
- Provide transparency about how the University operates.
- Facilitate agility in its operations. There are three workstreams covering Governance, HR, and Students, with three enablers
- Digital User Experience, Communications and business change, and Technology.
What you'll bring
- Previous experience in a Project Management role, ideally within Education or Public sectors, but not essential
- A PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent agile
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively engage with colleagues at all levels
- Impeccable organisation skills to plan and manage your own workload
- Welldeveloped problemsolving skills
- You will be a proactive problem solver who can manage multiple priorities to ensure that work is delivered on time to a high standard
- You will be an engaged team member, but also able to work independently.
The successful applicant will be required to start no later than 1 month following successful interview with the hiring manager.
