From Swimming lessons, to walking football and everything in-between we are driven to provide fun and welcoming sessions to support the whole community to be active, both within our leisure centres and in the local community.


We are looking for a Tennis Administrator to join our friendly and professional team, who will support the Tennis Development Manager with administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Tennis and Sales administration processes.

In this role you will be responsible for the administrative tasks for the tennis courses, bookings, camps, and coaching. Additionally, collecting all outstanding payments from customers and coaches in a timely manner.

You will also be providing support for customer inquiries and complaints, collaborating and establishing relationships with local community organisations, specifically schools and community groups, to create mutual partnerships with Freedom Leisure.


You will also be supporting the Sales team on a daily basis, aside from the selling of memberships to new prospects this role is also about being the start of the membership retention process for that individual too.

We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal and customer facing skills.

Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday - Sunday

Requirements:


  • Telephone and face to face customer service
  • Telephone and face to face sales
  • Experience of managing a varied workload
  • Ability to liaise, communicate and work collaboratively with multiple groups of people
  • Well developed interpersonal skills, able to negotiate and persuade people both internally and externally
  • Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of colleagues
  • Outgoing personality with a 'can do' attitude
  • To be able to work flexibly with a good level of autonomy, across a range of work areas at once

Desirable:


  • First Aid at Work and Safeguarding & Child Protection Qualification
  • Experience of tennis / sports development
  • Knowledge of sports development and developing key relationships with sports clients and partners
  • Knowledge of safeguarding children principles
