SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB


As a Night Security Officer at HSG, you'll ensure the safety of our customers, staff, patients, their buildings, and assets.

Times of work
4 nights on, 4 nights off shift pattern (12 hour shifts, 6pm - 6am)


Salary
£11.94 hourly rate

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Night Security Officer, you will be required to:

  • Maintain the security of the site
  • Patrol the site
  • Attend calls as required
  • Follow and maintain site specific assignment instructions
  • Work with our client to actively deter theft and manage conflicts
  • Act as a first point of contact for security issues and incidents
  • Conduct daily occurrence reports and incident reports
  • Ensure the safety of NHS staff and patients
  • Dealing with possible violence and aggression
  • Deescalate situations as best as possible, some restraints may be required as a last resort, but full training will be provided
  • Be proactive in reporting any faults with the client's equipment

Requirements:


  • Hold an SIA Licence (door supervisor or security guard)
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Experience in security work
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflict is preferred, but not essential
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to lone work
  • A driving licence is preferred
