This is a full-time, six month fixed term contract aimed to assist Head of GFCC International Risk.

The primary responsibility is to design and implement a robust Financial Crime Framework across M&G.


The individual in this role will need to engage with various divisions, including business, operations, compliance, and other risk functions across M&G.

This also involves interaction with outsourced service providers, with the goal of assessing and developing the most efficient oversight.


Work Level Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for delivering highquality services or products to customers and stakeholders, leveraging significant practical experience or training
  • For team leaders, responsibility includes ensuring that the team they support is providing a highquality service or product
  • Operates within established frameworks and procedures, with the autonomy to interpret them to solve a variety of problems
  • Delivers clearly defined outputs, exercising discretion over the methodology to achieve them
  • Proposes improvements to the team's work, based on previous experience and knowledge of similar situations

Responsibilities:


  • Assisting in the design of the FCC framework across the 1st and 2nd lines, coordinating among all relevant parties
  • Supporting the Head of Group FCC International Risk in oversight activities, which include regional financial crime risk and thirdparty suppliers
  • Maintaining and influencing key stakeholder relationships across the business and collaborating with other teams as needed
  • Keeping abreast of relevant local and transnational legislation/regulation, industry best practices, and rules relating to financial crime
  • Preparing relevant reports for governance

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in Financial Crime Compliance within the financial services industry
  • Exceptional reportwriting skills
  • Proficiency in managing, organising, and prioritising workloads in a fastpaced, demanding environment
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement when assessing risk and controls; understanding and balancing risks against appropriate controls to determine residual risk
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
