Care Assistant - based at Sir William Harper House.


Shifts between 7am to 10pm Monday to Sunday

Required to work every other weekend.

Dial House is one of Bedford's longest established Home Care providers and has an excellent reputation for quality of care it provides.

We are looking for compassionate, reliable staff to join us in caring for elderly within their own flats in Sir William Harper House (Extra Care), to supporting them to remain as independent as possible.

You will be required to help our clients with personal centred care, ensure they eat and drink and take medication, supporting them to socialize and carry out day to day tasks such as shopping, cleaning or ironing.

The role is varied, challenging and demanding but equally rewarding.

Sir William Harper House is a supported living purpose built of 37 self-contained flats, we provide care and support from 7am to 10pm, seven days a week.

We are looking to cover both the evening shifts 4pm to 10pm Monday to Friday and weekends 7am to 10pm both Saturday and Sunday 7am to 10pm.

Enhanced DBS check required.

5.6 weeks paid annual leave (pro-rata)

Full training, and after probation support and funding to complete NVQ's.

£10.55-£11.05 per hour
