Treasury Analysis

  • Organise and maintain exposures across various internal and external portfolios used for Repo.
  • Update & monitor exposure sheets
  • Produce, monitor and project cash and collateral reports.
  • Collect and maintain historical funding costs data.
  • Communicate to the team relevant market information regarding funding costs (TRS, Futures Implied funding rates and Repo).
  • Document and update Treasury & Execution Policies and Procedures.
  • Build key relationships with external counterparties and internally among Operations, Legal and Risk as well as with the investment teams
Multi-Asset Execution

  • Work alongside and in place of the Execution Trader to ensure timely and efficient segregated execution in FX, Futures, Bonds & Repo.
  • Take all sufficient steps to ensure best execution and effective implementation options (algos, RFQs, etc.)
  • Cultivate relationships with counterparties and stakeholders

Technical Competencies, Skills and Experience
Strong analytical and numerical skills supported by appropriate qualifications or experience in economics and finance.

  • Relevant operations and or investment experience in Fixed Income, FX or Equity markets.
  • Good understanding of rates and FX products (Bonds, IRS, TRS, Repo, FX Spot and forward).
  • Broad derivatives (OTC and listed) knowledge and practical experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Access (VBA), Bloomberg and Order Management system.
  • Strong compliance culture and high personal ethical standards.
  • Detailed and keen to learn with flexibility in approaching the role as well as the business.
  • Middle/Backoffice experience
  • Understanding of pre & post trade Transaction Cost Analysis / Best Execution tools
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg as an OMS
Essential

  • Training will be provided as required towards achieving the Investment Management Certificate and developing sufficient skills and experience to be considered fit and proper to fulfil the designated regulatory function/s for USSIM (under the FCA SM&CR regime).
