Engage Talent Partners are working on a recruitment project to source an HR Coordinator for our client who are an established oil and gas company in Aberdeen

You will be joining the team as the company embarks on a journey of ambitious growth. The role will support the HR Manager and HR Advisors on all people responsibilities both onshore and offshore.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR Manager/HR Advisor.
  • Support the recruitment and selection of offshore personnel for designated MOUs. Ensure that the correct procedure and process is followed and that it is carried out efficiently and effectively with assistance where necessary.
  • Where necessary act as relief for other roles within the team, as required, to cover absence of colleagues.
  • Plan, organise and administer a flexible logístical and personnel support service for designated personnel/MOUs.
  • Overall responsibility for the maintenance of an accurate employee database(s) and files as necessary in order to produce timely and accurate regular or ad hoc reports.
  • Work closely with Rig Management to meet operational requirements.
  • Seek guidance from and report regularly to the HR Manager/VP HR on exceptional requests/incidents/issues.
  • Seek to improve services, systems and processes to provide a more effective and efficient service to the organisation.
  • Coordinate and administer change of personal details, employee payroll, pension and private medical insurance information to ensure accurate and current information is maintained.
  • Coordinate, prepare the appropriate documentation and participate any discussions/formal meetings with offshore employees in relation to disciplinary/grievance/long term absence processes.
  • Monitor absence, turnover, agency personnel, disciplinary cases etc. and report as required.
  • Coordinate, plan, organise and administer the Company's training requirements (as designated) as defined by the approved training procedure and associated training manual and matrix.
  • Be familiar with training requirements for country of operation.
  • Ensure training levels for appropriate offshore staff are regularly reviewed, highlighting any issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and coordinate turnover, sickness and manhours as required.
  • Adhere to and implement, where applicable, Company HSEQ procedures.
