Production Operative

Huddersfield


Salary:
£ £12.65 per hour


Hours:4 on 4 off continental shifts


XCL Group are working alongside a growing company who are looking for people to join them, at a large manufacturing site in West Yorkshire.

This opportunity offers the potential of long term employment, where they're looking for hard working and reliable individuals, to become a key part of their manufacturing department.


Responsibilities:


  • Using tools and machinery to manufacture the têxtile products.
  • Ensure the production area is maintained in a clean, safe and tidy state, this includes the safe disposal of waste material.
  • Responsible for the quality of product produced and highlight any nonconforming product or issues as soon as possible.
  • Responsible for the efficient use of the correct production materials and equipment.
  • Responsible for achieving production targets and minimising downtime and be responsible for the accurate recording of information on fault reports where appropriate.

Preferred Skills / Experience:


  • Textiles experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Production/ assembly experience.
  • Ability to confidently following instructions.
  • Basic level of literacy and numeracy.
  • FLT Counterbalance is beneficial but not essential.
