**Job BriefYou will be reporting into your Line Manager at the Head Office in St Leonard?s on Sea.
The hours of work will be 40 per week, excluding holidays.
Official start times will be 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday to Friday or as otherwise reasonably required to undertake the job.
However, in the event of existing or future appointments in relation to management reporting you will need to adhere to the company objectives and reporting procedures.
The role requires an experienced, flexible and highly motivated individual who is capable of working under their own initiative and as part of a team.

Monday ? Friday, 8.30am ? 5pm with a 30minute unpaid break for lunch
**Standby Duties:
Salary:
£32, £35,000.00 per year dependant on experience and qualifications
You will receive 22 days of paid holiday plus all UK statutory Bank Holidays, this entitlement increases with time served.
You will also be auto-enrolled onto the workplace pension scheme after successful completion on 3-month probation, which you can opt out of should you choose.
- Company van to include the journey to and from work but excluding private mileage
- Company mobile phone for business use only
- Company uniform
- Be able to identify and rectify faults effectively and efficiently
- Have experience in industrial, commercial, and domestic installations & maintenance
- Have comprehensive knowledge base of multiple manufacturers equipment
- Have basic IT skills:
Must be able to carry out thorough routine servicing across all disciplines of fire to the relevant industry standards (BAFE and IEE).
An understanding on the use of electronic devices will also be key for job completion purposes.
**Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- 3yrs experience in the fire industry Non-Essential
- IP Knowledge
- Qualified in Fire Extinguisher Installation & Servicing
- IPAF
- PASMA
- ECS Card (with at least 6 months remaining) Essential Technical & Practical Experience and Skills
- Commercial, industrial and domestic installations of varying sizes
- Ability to service, fault find and carry out fault rectification on all areas of fire
- Experience working with the following systems:
- C-tec
- Wireless Radio system
- Scantronic
- Texecom
- Morley/Kentec Fire
- Nurse Call Systems
- Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written.
- Be literate and numerate.
- Be conversant with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Be motivated, self-disciplined and capable of working on your own initiative to problem solve or collectively as part of a team.
- Perform under pressure. Positive attitude.
- Be a good and thoughtful decision maker.
- The companys standards must be adhered to at all times
- Induction and training workshops delivered by the company, need to be fully utilized in the role.
- You will need to attend regular training workshops and team meetings as determined by the company.
To ensure that deadlines are met, and correct procedures followed.
To inform your line manager of any illness which results in time off work.
