Hours:
Flexible/Part time (up to 22.5 hours per week)


A modern commercial law firm based in Leeds City Centre are looking for an Events Coordinator/Manager to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with previous events management experience, to work at a leading firm involved in delivering a range of services to some of the UK's most well-known brands.


The role:

  • Working with our Partners and fee earners to strategically develop internal and external events
  • Event planning and organising, and where required overseeing the running
  • Preparation of event plans and timelines
  • Working with Partners/fee earners to create targeted mailing lists
  • Venue research and selection
  • Management of supplier relationships
  • Preparation of relevant presentation and marketing materials
  • Communication and publicity of events in liaison with our Digital Content & Social Media Manager
  • Management of event budget
  • Following up after events to assess success and return on investment
  • Management of events through Microsoft Dynamics, creating mailing lists, recording responses, and negotiating and managing budgets
  • Providing strategic reports to the Partnership on the success of events

What we are looking for:

  • IT literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and CRM databases
  • At least 5 years' experience in an events management role, preferably within a professional organisation
  • An individual with strong administrative and organisational skills, able to use their own initiative and work to tight deadlines
  • A strong, proactive, and enthusiastic team player
  • An individual with strong communication skills, able to work with partners and staff at all levels, as well as external suppliers and consultants.
