Salary: £26,500 pro rota

Contract Type:
Part Time/6 Month Contract


Proposed Timeline:
January 22 to June 23


Proposed Hours: 14 hours per week

The Job Role:


Our client is the mobile arts resource in Ireland and has been internationally recognised and won numerous awards for its work with young people.

Due to growth they are searching for a communications officer on a part time basis.

The
communications officer will help increase and maintain a strong digital and media presence and will strengthen and enhance the organisation's external communications and marketing.


The
communications officer will lead and support staff in terms of quality and outputs, increase consistency of written communications shared with external stakeholders and implement a communications and audience development strategy.

They are expectedto lead monthly team meetings to share, review and report on comms targets and progress.


Job Title Duties:


  • Lead and oversee the strategic development of the brand and audience
  • Plan, write, post, and edit news and web content maintaining a distinctive voice
  • Producing press releases, promoting events, updating social media posts, and writing compelling copy to raise the profile of the organisation
  • Responsibility for creating a deliverable PR strategy and building media relations
  • Lead on strategy and delivery of digital content development, brand communications and implementation using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Responsible for planning and overseeing the content, schedule of social media posts and coordinating the approach to developing a social media footprint
  • 3 years experience in communication and marketing related roles
  • Experience with social media strategies and platforms
  • Excellent at implementing different marketing techniques
  • Strong planning, prioritisation, and attention to detail skills
  • Proven experience in successfully leading on strategy and delivery of digital content development and brand communications
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Able to write content for a range of audiences across a variety of platforms and formats
