Description:

"Our client, a leading manufacturer of chilled, frozen and ambient convenience foods are currently looking to recruit a number of Class 1/LGV C&E Trunking drivers to work on their behalf.

Based out of their flagship Sheffield manufacturing site you will be responsible for delivering product nationwide to RDCs.

We have a variety of shifts and start time including weekend's. You will be paid a minimum of 8 hours and no breaks will be deducted

No Handballing, Trunking only

Rates (PAYE)

Mon-Fri - £15

Sat - £16

Sun - £19

To be successful you will:

Complete necessary transport administration at start, during and end of shift
Drive in a fuel efficient and safe manner
Full compliance with all EU Driver Hours and RTD Regulations
Ensure goods are transported within correct temperature specifications
Ensure all equipment is used in line with the safe systems of work
Pre and post vehicle checks are completed and any defects reported in the correct manner

What do we need from you to be an HGV Class 1 Driver?

Full LGV C+E driving licence

Minimum 24 months experience for DNI

Good level of English speaking and written communication

A maximum of 6 points on your licence for minor offences (DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements will not be accepted)

UK Driving Licence

Digi Tachograph Card

CPC Card

Min Rate - £15

Max rate - £19

Full Time or Part Time

Temporary

Location - S26 (Kiveton, Sheffield)
Documents Required

Valid Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card, proof of address, Proof of national insurance and right to work in the UK documents.
