MJ Church are recruiting for a Transport Router to join our ever-growing team working within our Skips department based at our Allington site in Chippenham.

This is a full-time permanent position to start as soon as possible.

In this role, you will report directly to the Transport Manager and work within a team to oversee and plan for a fleet of 20-25 vehicles.

Daily duties will include;

Working with a computerised system to route a fleet of waste vehicles;
Communicating with the drivers throughout the day to ensure a smooth and consistent workflow;
Briefing / debriefing drivers and monitoring their daily performance;
Liaising with our customers and rectifying any problems as they arise.

Skills & Experience Required;

A good local knowledge of the area is essential for planning efficient routes;
A good understanding of compliance
Attention to detail with the ability to work extremely well under pressure
Experience within the waste industry is desirable

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 5.00pm.
