An outstanding opportunity has arisen for our client who are specialists in their market sector.

They are recruiting for a permanent Project Manager, if you have experience as a Project Manager this role could be ideal for you.


The Job you'll do

  • Deliver purchase order requirements while minimising business risks and costs, taking opportunities to improve profitability while protecting and improving customer relationships.
  • Use and maintain agreed planning tools.
  • Arrange and attend various meetings and that could include contract reviews, customer updates, expediting, and quality reviews.
  • Manage the creation, submissions, maintenance and circulation of project plans and other status reports.
  • Identify and take opportunities to maximise sales order profitability, commercial and business opportunities.
  • Enhance profitability through the effective management of project costs ensuring overall project budgets are achieved.
  • Manage changes to requirements and prepare, submit and negotiate variation orders.
  • Identify, report and expedite progress and minimise potential risks to the project schedule.
  • Ensure that you work in a safe manner and comply with the company's Health, Safety & Environmental Policy.
  • Carry out any other duties not listed above as may reasonably be expected.

About You

  • They must have the ability to communicate clearly and constructively while maintaining good relationships with customers.
  • Preferably they will have significant experience and understanding of the manufacturing industry and in particular a machine shop environment.
  • They must also have experience of working within a business which manufactures components for various industries.
  • They must be analytical with strong proven problem solving abilities combined with the ability to provide strong leadership.
  • They must be able to strategically plan operations while having the ability to plan and deliver against production deadlines.
  • This position will be on a full time, permanent basis. Working hours are 35 per week.
