Permanent, Full time 35 hours per week
£10.50 per hour
This is an exciting time at Newcastle United as we look for talented individuals to help us on our journey.
To help us deliver on our plans we have a fantastic opportunity for a Shared Services Apprentice to join our Payroll and Reward team.
With Shared Services being the first point of contact for any queries relating to our people and the administration relating to them - this really is an exciting opportunity.
You'll be part of our wider People and Talent team and support us to deliver an efficient and effective Shared Services function.
You'll assist with a range of day-to-day duties which will include; providing first line support for both internal and external Payroll, Reward, Employment Checks and Human Resources (HR) related queries.
You'll have excellent organisation, prioritisation and administration skills, with high levels of attention to detail. You'll produce high quality work and work calmly under pressure to meet your deadlines.We're also looking for a real self-starter with a commitment to personal and career development, motivated to get a career in Payroll and Human Resources (HR) underway.
Remember too that we really value transferable skills and what we are really looking for is a willingness to get stuck in and learn.
Alongside a load of on-the-job training (we love sharing what we know) you will also be fully funded (and given study time) to complete a qualification in a relevant occupational area.
