Are you a Category D PCV licence and Driver CPC qualification holder?

Can you communicate well with pupils, colleagues and parents?

The Grammar School at Leeds' Transport company, GSaL Transport Limited (GTL), based within the school campus at Alwoodley Gates provides coaches and buses for a variety of work, primarily including school contracts, with some private hire work and excursion work.

Due to the expansion of the company, GTL are looking to recruit new PCV Coach Drivers to join on a permanent basis.

Applicants must hold a full Category D PCV licence and Driver CPC qualification.

In addition, we are seeking experienced bus and coach drivers from any background, who have strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Experience of driving a coach, and the ability to drive a coach or bus on various types of roads, ranging from country roads to motorway driving, would be advantageous.

Your main duties would include:

Driving school vehicles in accordance with legal requirements and GSAL transport procedures, including reporting any faults or failures promptly, use of a tachograph when appropriate, and ensuring that all fare collecting equipment is operational and working effectively, should cover be required on a school bus route
Reporting of any incidents immediately to the General Manager
Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy at all times
