Head of Performance - West Midlands (Hybrid Working - 2/3 days a week) - Up to £85,000 - Marketing


Our client are in an exciting period of growth, and are seeking an experienced and driven individual to lead and develop their customer and cause acquisition strategies as a key member of their senior team.

Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, the Head of Performance will be responsible for evolving their digital marketing channels and capabilities, driving growth and meeting key business targets.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to enhance supporter and cause acquisition activity, working closely with SEO, PPC, and PR agencies to accelerate the performance of their organic and paid acquisition strategy.
  • Optimise direct channels by accelerating the SEO and PPC capabilities to achieve a stepchange in the volume of acquired customers.
  • Enhance conversion rates across key pages through an effective CRO program.
  • Develop and execute an effective program of activity to drive adoption of key propositions among new customers, including Apps and browser extension.
  • Continuously track data, performance, and optimisation across different topoffunnel streams to refine how propositions engage new and lapsed customers.

Key Skills:


  • Significant experience delivering customer growth through customer experience and engagement in a highgrowth B2C online model.
  • Proven experience using direct, paid, and organic channels to drive business growth.
  • Strong appreciation of the data, KPIs, and complexities of an online business model with a focus on acquisition and conversion rates.
  • Experience running successful organic and paid activity across mainstream social media channels such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Expertise in using search trends, demographic, and behavioural data to build and refine a content strategy for organic acquisition.
  • Ability to develop and manage an online social community and interpret research and insights to determine strategy.
  • A track record of developing dataoriented marketing strategies.
  • Strong problemsolving skills in a fastmoving, complex business and technical environment.
  • Good understanding of the wider business strategy to make informed decisions and challenge senior stakeholders in the business.
  • Ownership of marketing budgets and commercial experience with negotiating and managing agencies and 3rd party vendors.
  • Strong project manager and people manager, able to coach and develop the team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to be honest and open with colleagues and customers, communicate risks, and make informed decisions.
  • A focus on continuous improvement and staying uptodate with the latest marketing approaches, technology, and industry developments.
