Credit Controller - Newport, United Kingdom - Acorn Recruitment Limited

Salary:
£23,000 - £25,000
Location:
Newport, but hybrid working offered after training and induction has been completed
Responsibilities:
- Managing all sales ledger activity including invoicing, reconciling and resolving any customer issues
- Following set procedures to ensure all invoices and outstanding debt is followed up in the correct manner, utilising a variety of communication channels
- Building good relationships with other staff and customers
- Completing aged debt and other reports for the accounts team on a weekly basis
- Adhoc administrative or accounts duties as required
Key requirements:
- Previous experience in the manufacturing sector would be beneficial but isn't essential
- Must be very IT literate with a good ability of working in Excel and preferably good experience using Sage
- Capable of working as part of a team and independently
- Excellent attention to detail with good numerical skills
- Ability to integrate into a fastpaced accounts department
