**Business Analyst

£ a day, Outside IR35, Remote Working, Local Government
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join a Local Authority on an interim basis.

The position is fully remote and can accommodate an immediate start.

Budget for the contract is signed off until the end of March and there is a good chance that this will be extended until June and possibly beyond.

The role falls outside of IR35 and offers a competitive daily rate of £400-£450 depending on experience.


This position would be ideally suited to an experienced Business Analyst with advanced skills in Excel and Oracle who is available to start a remote role at short notice.

You will work closely alongside a team of analysts within the Children's & Families Directorate. The focus of the role will be to provide business analyst deliverables and support.

**Key Responsibilities: - Ensuring key business goals are understood and requirements are documented

  • Map as is and to be business processes to support the change via cross functional process flows
  • Support the Project Manager with production of relevant documentation
  • Support the Project Manager in establishing the timescales, costs and resources needed
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure they are aware of process benefits as well as impacts
  • Ensuring appropriate communications to users about proposed process changes
**Key Requirements

  • Excellent analytical, decision making and problemsolving skills
  • Advance Excel skills
  • Advance Oracle experience
  • Able to start at short notice and work remotely
  • Local Government experience (desirable)
