This is an entry level job.
Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Youth Support Worker to work with children with SEMH in schools in Secondary Schools in Sunderland.
You will be expected to provide 1:1 or small group support for students who are struggling with social, emotional, and mental health.
This is a wholesome role which allows for you to create a lasting memory and a better future for the child.
The students that you will be working with will have either ASC/Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH)/complex learning disabilities or being identified as having a statement of an educational need or an Educational, health and care plan (EHCP).

The ideal person will be professional and passionate about SEND/SEMH and supporting children with additional needs and being fully able to adapt themselves to meet each individual needs, including excellent behaviour management.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
