Cover Supervisor:

Term time only
Monday to Friday

Cover Supervisors supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared lessons when teaching staff are on short term absence.

Their main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set.

We have opportunities for individuals who have previous experience supporting students or looking recent graduates who are looking to start a career in teaching.

Responsibilities include:

Supervising the pupils within the classroom
Ensuring pupils remain on task
Dealing with disruptive behaviour
Ensuring the safety of pupils
Building relationships with pupils
Helping the pupils when needed

Successful applicants will have:

Degree qualification or equivalent is advantageous but not essential
Passion, be empathetic and have confidence
Excellent communication skills
Willing to participate in our internal training programme
