Summary:

The IT Project Manager within Compliance Technology Services acts in support of the Global Communications Surveillance Portfolio. Partners with Development and Product teams to ensure adherence to roadmap deliveries. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledgeto resolve complex problems. The PM owns project plans, including identifying and resolving dependencies, risks, and issues. Maintains project documentation and collaborative project spaces. Functions as a point of contact for progress reporting and statusupdates. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Assists the Portfolio and Program manager in executing the day to day management of projects and releases.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinates activities of the project team, identifies necessary resources, dependencies and risks, and develops schedules to meet completion deadlines.
  • Directly impacts the IT project leadership area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and contribution to planning, budget management and formulation of procedures; influences resource planning.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.
  • Verifies team adherence to control and risk implementations as well as standards and process changes.
  • Applies good understanding of concepts and procedures within own IT project leadership area, identifies scope and impact of project risks and issues; raises and resolves issues.
  • Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.
  • Manages technical components of moderately complex IT projects.
  • Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Ability to manage teams in a globally distributed work environment.

Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated experience in an IT project management role.
  • Experience in managing Agile/Scrum and Waterfall projects.
  • Experience in Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in MS Office Excel, SharePoint, MS PowerPoint, MS Project.
  • Strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to integrate data from multiple sources with attention to detail.
  • Strong, interpersonal and organisations skills.
  • Strong communication and writing skills that lead to clear, concise, and unambiguous documentation including action plans, meeting minutes, and project presentations.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
