If you are ready for a challenging role within Ophthalmology Day care unit, working as a healthcare assistent within a busy day surgery environment then this is potentially the job you are looking for in your career.

We operate six days a week covering ophthalmic surgery for Local and General anaesthtic related cases.

You will be responsible for patient care from admission to discharge, providing support to staff for transferring of patients for surgery.

Carrying out routine patient observations and other point of care testing. We will support your learning within this specialty and encourage training and development for staff within the trust.

To assist and support the registered nurse, under supervision, with the delivery of direct patient care, with the needs of the patient at the centre of care delivery
