Variable hours contract | £17.05 to £17.99 per annum (Scale I) 50% Enhanced
| Remote/Face to Face Countywide
We currently have a full-time opportunity to teach English as a second language.

We are looking for qualified, skilled, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and highly organised individuals to provide inspirational teaching to learners in the busy Foundation Skills curriculum with Norfolk Adult Learning.

This is a variable hours contract.


You will be required to work closely as part of the Foundation Learning Skills curriculum team to deliver high quality ESOL classes to Norfolk residents and refugees.


You will be dedicated to improving life outcomes for post 19 learners and refugees and will deliver English as a second language online and/or in the community throughout Norfolk.

You should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • A learner centred, active approach is necessary, along with an appreciation of the added benefits of virtual learning and excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent ICT skills, including Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, and webbased learning programmes.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills including an ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • A minimum CELTA or TESOL qualifications with English and maths qualifications at Level
  • Work well within a team environment.
  • Awareness of data protection, safeguarding, Prevent and information management.
You will be part of a well-established, supportive team and training will be provided.
