The Firm

Our client is a successful law firm committed to providing a high quality service. The firm are growing their Property team and are now looking for an experienced Property Paralegal to take on fee-earning work

The Opportunity

This role is to offers a range of property law cases varying in complexity which can be managed under the supervision of the managing partner.

The opportunity is excellent for Property Paralegals with experience managing a caseload.
The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Managing clients and their expectations.
Dealing with a mixed caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions including sales and purchases of leaseholds and freeholds, grant of new leases, extension/variation of leases, mortgages, transfers of equity, equity release, shared ownership,licence to alter etc.
Liaising with clients to ensure full understanding of the transactions and procedure.
Drafting and Preparing documentation for the conveyancing of property including the investigation/certificate of title reports.
Investigating title documents and carrying out local searches.
Researching and analysing documents and case law to ensure the accuracy of advice and procedure.
Drafting reports on title.
Checking all documentation prior to signing and implementing.
Time recording and billing.
Dealing with all post completion formalities

Please note that you may be required to run optimally with around 35-40 cases at any given time and will be provided with a billing target.

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 years' experience managing a caseload of mixed Property matters
The ability to handle Property tasks both independently and as part of a team (either Residential or both Residential and Commercial)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage busy caseloads
