Architectural Technologist / Technician

Location:
Stockport, Greater Manchester**
Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 per annum

The Role:


Our client are currently looking for
Architectural Technologist with strong design and detailing skills to work on a varying range and scale of projects.


About You:


  • You will have experience working in a similar role.
  • You will be highly motivated and organised with a passion for architect and design.
  • Be confident with all aspects of design from submitting planning to site surveying.

Role Responsibilities:


  • Detailed knowledge of Planning Procedures
  • Detailed knowledge of UK Building Regulation requirements
  • Be able to confidently produce Building Regulation drawings
  • On Site surveying experience
  • Project design experience

Essential Skills & Requirements:


  • A minimum of 2 years post qualification working in the UK.
  • CIAT, or hold an equivalent international professional qualification.
  • Close attention to detail and strong technical ability.
  • Preparation of tender packages including NBS specifications.
  • Working experience of both refurbishment and new builds.
  • The ability to meet deadlines with an efficient work rate and good time management skills.
  • Clientfacing skills, including experience of working with a team on contractorled Design and Build projects.
  • Fluency in Revit and experience using this software on live projects essential.
  • Good working knowledge of Building Regulations and Standards.
