Showroom Cleaner

Stoneacre operates a high standard cleaning policy. This is demonstrated and implemented across all our franchises situated in Middlesbrough

We are looking for an experienced cleaner to join our team.


Main responsibilities include:

  • Daily Check and clean of toilets including, all sinks, toilet basins, tiles, ledges, dryers, toilet roll/Soap dispensers, mirrors, hoover/mop toilet floors, clean doors and replenish toilet Rolls/Soap dispensers as necessary.
  • Daily Check and clean of the kitchens including, all work surfaces, sinks, bowls, draining boards, ensure tables and chairs are clean for use, bins emptied, replace liners, clean from any debris and spillages, check the milk and date making sure its fresh and safe to use, fill up the tea, coffee and sugar containers, hoover and mop the floor if required. Weekly check and clean of cupboard fronts, walls, microwaves and fridges.
  • Daily check and clean of offices, empty bins and replace liners. Every other day all desks, chairs, legs, office doors, telephones, computer screens, stands, keyboards, cabinets, Office trays, hoover carpets, windows and glass, marks on walls.
  • Daily check and clean of main showroom, empty bins and replace liners. Every other day hoover and mop Floor (including under car areas when required), check and clean desks, chair legs, keyboards, computer screens/stands, telephones, doors, hand rails and railings (if Applicable).
  • Daily check and clean of customer coffee area including, clean/ replenish coffee machine, coffee machine cabinet, empty bin/replace liner, empty water machine drip tray (if applicable), check milk and dates (if applicable).
  • Every other day check and clean showroom entrances and back stairs including glass doors, ledges, hoover, mop and clean hand rails.
  • Monthly tasks include clean skirting boards, plug sockets, light switches, high and low dusting, ledges, display cabinets and stands, kitchen cupboards checked for damaged crockery, pull out fridge to clean and defrost as required, clean cutlery draws and inserts and coffee machines intense clean (if applicable).
  • Cleaning experience essential
  • Flexible and 'can do' attitude
  • Able to take responsibility for own work to the highest standard and work on own initiative
  • Hard working, reliable and trustworthy

Details of the Role:

  • 18 hours per week
  • Monday to Saturday 3 hours per day
  • 20 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays
  • National Minimum Wage
